RAW+POUR

Raw ingredients - Informed choices - Your formulation.

We are a Female lead company with an obssession of one simple idea:

'skincare begins with understanding what goes into it'.

Raw+Pour is a small UK-based supplier of raw cosmetic ingredients for individuals who want to take a more informed, hands-on approach to skincare.

We believe in looking beyond the label, asking questions about ingredients and making considered choices about what we use on our skin. For those who enjoy researching ingredients, exploring formulations and learning how skincare is made, we provide access to specialist raw materials in practical quantities.

We don’t make finished creams, serums or ready-made skincare products. Our focus is on supplying individual ingredients for customers who want to explore cosmetic formulation for themselves.

Ingredients, not finished products.
Our range brings together carefully selected raw materials used in cosmetic formulation, from everyday formulation essentials to specialist actives.

Our product range may include:

  • Brightening and tone-supporting ingredients — selected cosmetic raw materials used in formulations designed to improve the appearance of uneven skin tone.
  • Skin barrier formulation ingredients — lipids, humectants and other materials used in the development of moisturising and skin-conditioning products.
  • Antioxidants and vitamin derivatives — ingredients used in cosmetic formulations to support specific formulation goals. • Formulation essentials — emulsifiers, solvents, emollients and texturisers that help bring individual ingredients together.
  • Specialist cosmetic peptides — selected peptide raw materials for appropriate cosmetic formulation applications, subject to each ingredient’s specifications and permitted uses.

Every ingredient has its own characteristics, limitations and formulation requirements. We aim to make product information clear and accessible so customers can research what they are buying and make informed decisions.

Meet our star peptides.
Our peptide range brings together selected cosmetic peptide ingredients chosen for their role in modern formulation. These are the specialist actives at the heart of our range — ingredients intended to support specific formulation goals when used appropriately and in accordance with their technical documentation.

Peptides are not a shortcut, a guaranteed result or a substitute for responsible formulation. Their performance depends on factors including concentration, stability, compatibility, pH, preservation, packaging and the finished product in which they are used.

Copper Tripeptide-1 (GHK-Cu)
Copper Tripeptide-1 (also known as GHK-Cu) is a copper-containing peptide used in cosmetic formulation. It is commonly selected for formulations focused on skin conditioning and the appearance of skin quality. As with all peptide ingredients, the supplied material must be handled and incorporated according to its specification. It should not be confused with a finished cosmetic product or presented as a guaranteed treatment.

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 & Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7
These palmitoylated peptides (often used together) are selected for cosmetic formulations designed to support the appearance of smoother-looking, more conditioned skin. Raw materials should be used only within the supplier’s recommended parameters and with appropriate attention to formulation stability. Products are identified by their exact INCI names, supplier specification and authorised description.

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 is a synthetic peptide commonly used in cosmetic formulations focused on the appearance of expression lines and skin smoothness. Any product description should reflect the exact material supplied, its documentation and the claims that can be appropriately substantiated for the finished formulation.

AHK-Cu (Alanyl-Histidyl-Lysine Copper Complex)
AHK-Cu is a copper peptide associated with scalp and hair-focused formulation concepts. It is kept separate from our face-focused peptide range because its intended formulation direction is different. AHK-Cu is not included in our facial house blend.

Other specialist peptides
Our peptide range may develop over time as we assess additional materials and their documentation. Any new peptide will be presented with its exact identity, intended cosmetic use, handling requirements and relevant supplier information. We do not describe a peptide by broad promises alone. We aim to provide the information needed to understand what the ingredient is, what it may be used for and what must be considered before formulation.

Important notice
All materials are supplied as raw cosmetic ingredients for formulation use only. They are not finished cosmetic products. Customers are responsible for ensuring that any finished product they manufacture complies with applicable UK cosmetics regulations, including safety assessment, notification and claims substantiation. Performance of any ingredient depends on the finished formulation and conditions of use. This document is for informational purposes and does not constitute legal, medical or regulatory advice.
